The Wine Tasting Group has relaunched. Its aim is to increase members' knowledge of wines in a relaxed and convivial manner.

It is planned to hold three meetings per year, some of which we hope to have an invited expert to lead the tastings.

Meetings will be held in Kurt's Bar at the Galtres Centre. The general form of the meetings will be that group members meet to taste and discuss a number of wines which may be linked by coming from a particular region or by being suitable to accompany certain foods or themed in some other way. We hope that members will be able to contribute to the planning of the meetings.

Our group is very popular but there are times when members are unable to attend. Rather than have empty places we are operating a short waiting list so we can invite members from the waiting list on an ad-hoc basis until they can become full group members.
