Group Description :
Saturday 12th September 2026 - An outing to Bishop Auckland to see the "Kynren" event - 'live, outdoor, action theatre taking us on a spellbinding journey through time'.
This is an outdoor evening event (sundown to starlight) and goes ahead whatever the weather. You are advised to wear warm waterproof clothes, to bring a cushion to sit on and a rug to wrap up in. It is described as a live action show to tell the story of England's past. The show is about 90 to 100 minutes long with no interval and includes jousting and ends with fireworks.
We will travel by Morse coach, leaving Easingwold at 4:30pm and returning about 11:30pm.
The final cost (including coach travel plus driver tip and entrance fee) is £45.50 - those who have already paid a £10 deposit owe a final payment of £35.50, whilst the two recent joiners need to pay the full £45.50.
