Update November 2025 - New Venue
The u3a Showcase Event in September proved to be so successful in attracting new members that the Canasta Group found itself in need of bigger premises! So, instead of meeting in members’ homes the group hires the lounge at the Methodist Church in Easingwold.
There is now space for more players. Beginners are welcome, guidance given. No league tables, no pressure, just enjoyment and fun. Sessions are held on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month from 09:45 to 11:45 at a cost of £2 a session.
